Few television shows warrant the conjoining of the words 'kick' and 'ass' (and in that particular order). The Emmy Award-winning 24, however, is still one that does, in my humble opinion.Okay, so the show is basically a high production value soap opera with shit blowing up, but it somehow still manages to glue me to my television set. While I thought the fourth season (which should have been dubbed 'Run Habeeb Run') was pretty weak overall, Day 5 restored my faith in Jack Bauer and those funny people at CTU, who still should seriously consider introducing a proper screening system for future employees - otherwise it could just as well be called 'mole central'.
Day 6, which premieres this january, promises to deliver more angry (Muslim) terrorists, willing to blow up half the United States because... well, because they're angry. And Muslim, which means they must be really really evil. Of course, America's last boy scout Jack Bauer is there to join (or spoil) the party. Check out the teaser trailer for Day 6 here.
